I met with my site supervisor, Pamela Morris, the superintendent of Hamshire-Fannett ISD on February 22, 2012 at 9:00am. Mrs. Morris also invited Dr. Dwaine Augustine to join us, as he will also be working with me during my internship process. We discussed the draft internship plan that was forwarded to both during last week. Overall both were pleased with the draft internship plan, however there were a few changes that were made based on their recommendations. Activity 1A was shortened to be more specific to the needs of our district. Activity 2C was changed to reflect service on the campus site based committee and attendance at the district site based committee meeting. Activity 4C was clarified to indicate that I would be assisting in conducting a parent meeting to review testing changes specifically related to STAAR/EOC for ninth grade parents. Activity 6A reflects attendance at the district leadership team meetings specifically. Doty Hatcher was added as a resource for activity 19B. Activity 20B will deal specifically with the high school campus and a facilities study review has been added. Activity 24C will include attendance/participation in budget workshops with the board of trustees. Activities 15B and 35A will be dealing specifically with the bond proposal for new elementary facilities.
